  10. THE SHAREWARE CONCEPT

  12.   Shareware is licensed commercial software which the authors make available
  13.   on a try-before-you-buy basis.  Users may evaluate a Shareware product for
  14.   a set period, by the end of which they must either pay for the product
  15.   (known as Registration) or stop using it.
  16.  
  17.   Copying of Shareware, subject to the above conditions, is not only allowed,
  18.   it is encouraged.  Pass copies on to interested friends and colleagues.
  19.   Shareware authors rely on the integrity of users to abide by the conditions
  20.   of the license, and register the product if they want to continue using it.
  21.   Many, like ARK ANGLES, also give added benefits to users who register.

  24. ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

  26.   This program is Shareware, and may be freely copied and distributed subject
  27.   to the terms described in the VENDINFO.DIZ file.  The program may be tried
  28.   out for up to 30 days without charge, after which users should register it
  29.   or cease to use it.

  32.   is licensed software, and copying or using it without paying for it, except
  33.   as provided above, is a breach of copyright.

  36. WHY REGISTER?

  38.   Use of the evaluation product beyond the set evaluation period is a breach
  39.   of copyright and is against the law.  But apart from the legal obligation,
  40.   there are many benefits to be gained from registering.  You will receive:

  42.    o  the latest version of all utilities with no reminder messages, plus
  43.    o  bonus software, plus
  44.    o  12 months free support from the author, plus
  45.    o  periodic news and upgrade information, plus
  46.    o  the satisfaction of supporting value software through Shareware.

  49. PRICING

  51.   Registration is A$29, US$24, £15, Dm40, ¥2600 shipped anywhere in the
  52.   world.  Wholesale and quantity discounts are available.

  54.   Registration gives a license for use of the program by one user or on
  55.   one machine, and entitles you to all the benefits listed above.  Special
  56.   licensing arrangements are available for schools or businesses or anywhere
  57.   there are multiple machines or users at the one site.

  59.   Updates are released regularly, and unregistered copies of the latest
  60.   version are available from ARK ANGLES for just a shipping charge of $5
  61.   each, or from many good Shareware vendors.

  66. HOW TO REGISTER
  67.  
  68.   Nothing is simpler.  We accept cash (of course), cheques (but may wait for
  69.   them to clear if they are large amounts), credit cards (AmEx, Bankcard,
  70.   Visa or Mastercard only), bank drafts or postal/money orders.

  72.   Credit cards will always be billed in Australian dollars (A$) so you get
  73.   the latest and best exchange rate.  Cash, cheques, drafts etc can be in
  74.   Australian dollars or your local currency.  Calculate local currency prices
  75.   from any of the published International prices at the current exchange rate.

  77.   There are five easy ways to register:

  79.   1. PHONE:  Get your credit card ready, and the details of your equipment as
  80.      listed in the ORDERFRM.TXT file.  Then call (047)588100 for Australian
  81.      customers or Intl+61-47-588100 for International customers, and leave
  82.      your ordering information with the operator or answering machine.

  84.   2. FAX:  If you have a fax card on your computer, then simply edit the file
  85.      ORDERFRM.TXT with all the necessary information, otherwise print it and
  86.      fill it in manually.  Make sure all your credit card info is there, then
  87.      fax it to (047)588638 for Australian customers or Intl+61-47-588638 for
  88.      Internaitonal customers.

  90.   3. POST:  Print ORDERFRM.TXT and fill it in.  Include credit card info,
  91.      or cheque, draft or money order and post to ARK ANGLES at P O Box 190,
  92.      Hazelbrook NSW 2779, Australia.

  94.   4. E-MAIL:  Insert ORDERFRM.TXT into a note, fill it in with your credit
  95.      card information, and send it to 100237.141@compuserve.com on Internet
  96.      or 100237,141 on CompuServe.   Your credit card details can be encrypted
  97.      by CATALOG.EXE.

  206.   related printed matter to be free of significant defects in materials and
  207.   workmanship, and that the program works largely in accordance with its
  208.   documentation.  This warranty is effective for three months from date of
  209.   registration, and is not transferrable.

  211.   No liability is accepted for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused by
  212.   the use of this product.  No warranty is made that it is suitable for any
  213.   particular person or purpose.  If this product is useful to you then please
  214.   register it, otherwise don't use it and don't pay for it.
